| Hello, and thanks for visiting our website...I am a DSS Registered Childcare Provider and I've recently completed my CDA PreSchool Setting Credential to open my own center.. yepee!!! I have my cpr/first aid certification and I've received a Certificate of Achievement from Army for childcare training. Magnanimous Kids....childcare services is a home based daycare facility. Why Childcare? Because I love kids. I find it exciting to watch a childs' mind develop through all the many things we tend to take for granted. To see the excitement in their eyes as they see and learn new things is very rewarding. My interest in daycare sparked during my employment at an Elementary School in Alaska. There I developed and enhanced previous skills of dealing, teaching and communicating with children. Teaching Art, Reading and working with the children throughout the school in different areas gave me the confidence to start my business. I've gained knowledge and experience through my volunteer time at my kids' school as a teacher assistant. There I've worked with children ages 5-12 as a Art teacher, Reading tutor and Kindergarden Aide. Later I was then promoted to Reading Coordinator and requested to devise a reading program using Read Naturally and Phonics all of which I'll be doing with your child when and if they're ready.. |
